Once we are contacted, we will carry a free and no-obligation assessment of the client’s care or support needs. We usually meet with our clients and their family to discuss the level of support or care that is needed.

During assessment the following issues will be discussed:

• Matching the appropriate carer
• Daily routine
• Health and medication issues
• Emergency issues
• Nutritional concerns
• Home cleaning issues
• Transportation issues
• Cost of services
• Network and relationship

After the initial meeting when the level support/care is identified and agreed, we shall with the consent of the client and the family formulate a robust care plan to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of the client and family. We take a holistic approach in matching the appropriate carer or support worker with our client, considering important issues such as client’s needs and personality. Ongoing follow-up ensures that the care plan is implemented appropriately and the client’s changing needs are met with diligence.

We are certainly mindful of family finances and we can create a care plan that meets almost anyone’s budget.
